I have used this product since January and my spots look the same way they did when I ordered this.I would suggest just biting the bullet and contacting a dermatologist. I am a 50 yr old women but unfortunately still have some dark reddish acne scars that are 25 yrs old. I also have a few small surgical scars, and since I live in So Cal am now starting to get sun spots, or some darker spots on my face and the back of my hands. I originally purchased this cream in Mexico when I was on vacation, and have continued to purchase it since I live near the border. The brand I purchase is called Skinlite, it is in a pink and white tube and one of the sellers here carries that brand. I have not used the Melalite brand, but the Skinlite product absolutely works. I do not want to be making trips across the border now that Mexico is unsafe, and when I 'googled' Skinlite this Amazon listing came up. I am very happy I can now purchase this product online, and the price is the same or probably less than what I have been paying the last 10 years.
